Inkscape Vectatory showroom is full of cute monsters

You didn’t really expect us to abandon the Showroom initiative too soon, did you? :) We are moving the showroom from USA to Chile where Vectatory works.

Vectatory is another artist who extensively uses Inkscape. He currently works as an illustrator at a video games company which develops games for iOS.

As a matter of fact, Vectatory is both a nickname and a project name. In his own words:

In my free time I dedicate all my efforts, as a freelance illustrator as well, to develop the Vectatory project whose aim is to create characters and show their interaction with the world.

Purely human characters are not too common for Vectatory, as you’ll see soon.

His work stands out in the Inkscape’s Flickr group through using a combination of vector graphics and textures. This is by far not a new concept, but for one reason or another the approach is not quite popular among artists who use Inkscape.

If you give them a closer look, you’ll see that earlier works have richer, deeper patterns, while later works use quite subtle patterns.
