After a little over a month of work Richard Hughes released the first public version of GNOME Color Manager.
The point of GCM is providing a simple user interface for managing existing and creating new profiles, as well as general inspection of ICC profiles.
While it only has a very basic functionality in place, you already can assign existing or create new profiles for displays, scanners and DSLRs. Preliminary review in English is coming.
Right now only source code is available for downloading.
